Spend the day outdoors!

For many of us, winter lasted a bit longer than expected. What better way to welcome the beautiful spring weather than by celebrating your birthday outdoors! Whether you go on a shopping spree to an outdoor outlet near you, or spend the day on a road trip exploring a town, you can find any reason to spend your birthday outdoors. If you want to do something more lowkey, why not a have a picnic in the park? Whether you decide to invite one hundred friends or just a handful, bring plenty of seasonal fruits, drinks, and some outdoor games to play.

Have a backyard BBQ and bonfire

This is the perfect party idea for those who want to have fun without breaking the bank. Invest some of the money you saved by not getting a hall and have catered food, plenty of drinks, and maybe even a fresh fruit bouquet! At the end of the night, break out the s’mores and sit around a crackling fire.

Plan a themed birthday party

No matter what age you are, everyone loves a themed birthday party. You can go with an elegant and classy theme, a Roaring 20’s Gatsby event, Rock and Roll theme and more! Make sure to go all out with the decorations, food and music to make the party as memorable as possible. There’s plenty of ideas out there that will get your friends and family excited to dress up for the theme and celebrate!

Experience an authentic wine tasting

From Northern California’s Wine Country to Long Island’s famous vineyards, the United States has a plethora of wine tasting opportunities. The weekend of your birthday, grab some of your closest friends and head to a vineyard near you! If you don’t have any near you, no worries! You can always go to a local wine bar near you that offers wine tastings and more! Even if you’re not exactly a wine sommelier, you’re bound to have a great time tasting a few wines other than your go-to Rosé.

Attend an outdoor fair or festival

You’d be surprised at how many festivals and fairs happen around your neighborhood in the Spring. Whether they’re floral festivals, a fruit and vegetable festival, or a farmer’s market, head outdoors to enjoy crafts, live entertainment, delicious food and more on your birthday!

Host a spa night

No matter how old you are, you’ll never outgrow a good, old-fashioned slumber party. Have all your friends come over in their comfiest pajamas and spend the night making homemade snacks, margaritas, and face masks, and of course plenty of Netflix binge-watching.

No matter what you decide to do for your birthday, just make sure you do it with people who love and support you!
