There’s nothing as sweet as sitting outside on a hot, summer day with a delicious ice-pop in your hand. But before you head down to the supermarket in search of an artificially flavored snack, try making them yourself! These fruity treats are easy to make, low calorie, and most of all tasty! Stay cool all summer long with these homemade, fruit popsicle recipes.

Fresh Fruit Popsicles

What you’ll need:

  • Your choice of assorted fruits, sliced
  • 2 cups of 100-percent white grape juice
  • Ice-pop trays
  • Popsicle sticks

Directions:

Slice your fruit into 1/2 -inch slices and arrange them in an ice-pop mold. The pieces should fit snug, while still leaving enough room for the juice. Pour enough juice into each mold so that it covers all of the fruit, and place a popsicle stick into each mold. Leave your ice-pops in the freezer for a minimum of six hours, then kick back and enjoy!

Papaya Pops

What you’ll need:

  • 4 cups of cubed, Mexican papaya
  • 3/4 cup of water
  • 3 tbsp. sugar
  • 2 tbsp. honey
  • 1 tbsp. lime juice
  • 1 pinch of salt

Directions:

Place your papaya in a food processor and puree until smooth. Then, pour it into a large bowl and mix in your water, sugar, honey, lime juice, and salt. Pour the mixture into an ice-pop mold and add in a popsicle stick. Throw them in the freezer for six hours and enjoy!

Watermelon-Lime Pops

What you’ll need:

  • 3 cups of watermelon cubes
  • 2 cups of frozen raspberries
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 2 tbsp lime juice

Directions:

Puree your watermelon, raspberries, sugar, and lime juice in a blender until smooth. Strain the mixture through a fine strainer and discard any solid pieces. Then, pour the mixture into popsicle molds and insert a stick. Leave them in the freezer for at least six hours.

No matter what you’re celebrating this summer, fresh fruit is always a must-have!
